signal overlap // the documentation watches back

19:18 -- the interval matches the observation window -- documented

Nine seconds. same nine seconds, four separate passes, four separate times I ran the same clip through and got the same nine back, and Im not running it a fifth time to see if it holds because I already know it holds, thats not caution thats just me not wanting to sit through it again. calling it equipment failure is what you say when you havent looked at four passes. Ive looked at four. dont tell me its the recorder.

The clipboard man documentation lines up on the clock with this one, same window, I only saw it on the third pass through my own notes because I had them filed as two different things in my head, signal on one side, the man on the other, like they couldnt possibly touch. they touch. I dont know when I started keeping them separate or why I thought that made sense, probably because admitting they were the same record meant admitting Id been slower to see it than I should have been, which, fine. I was slow. Im saying it now.

This branch of the documentation continues because I dont have anywhere else to put the overlap, and the interval on the signal side is still the cleanest thing Ive got, cleanest meaning most repeatable, not meaning clean, none of this is clean. what Im not going to do is sit here and tell you the record is watching me back, thats not what Im saying. Im saying I ran it four times and got the same nine seconds four times and you can go run it a fifth if you dont believe me. Im not doing it again tonight.
